From New York: An Uncensored History of Saturday Night Bo.»
Derfra produserte han «The National Lampoon Radio Hour» i 1973.
Tischler produserte også flere album, inkludert «Radio Dinner» i 1972, «Gold Turkey» i 1975 og «That’s Not Funny, That’s Sick» i 1977.
Senere i karrieren skrev Tischler for programmer som «Something So Right», «Empty Nest» og «Boy Meets World».
Tischler blir overlevd av sønnen, kona Judith Tischler og broren Jim, ifølge New York Times.
