Da Jessica slapp av sin unge datter, Victoria, hjemme hos søsteren på ettermiddagen, forventet hun at alt skulle gå bra.
Jessica måtte jobbe i helgen, så hun spurte søsteren – som har tre egne barn – om hun kunne se på datteren mens hun var borte.
Men, som rapportert av Kidspotda hun hentet henne fra søsterens hus, forventet hun ikke å få en gigantisk faktura for alt datteren gjorde – og rørte ved – i løpet av helgen.
«Hvor latterlig er denne jenta?»
Jessica tok til TikTok for å dele tekstmeldingene hun utvekslet med søsteren, som raskt blåste ut i en full feide.
«Her er en oversikt over alt Victoria brukte i hjemmet mitt,» begynte søsterens tekstmelding.
«Tidene blir vanskelige, og jeg tror det er rettferdig at vi tar betalt for ting hun brukte mens hun var her.»
Vedlagt teksten var en faktura som Jessica skulle betale, komplett med en oversikt over hver enkelt belastning hun forventet at søsteren skulle refundere henne for.
Noen var mer enn rettferdige – spesielt når man vurderer at noen gjør det tøft økonomisk. Victoria våt tilsynelatende sengen, som Jessicas søster belastet henne med $10 for å hjelpe til med å rengjøre.
Søsteren tok også med barna og Victoria til en italiensk restaurant, og betalte Jessica $17 for måltidet.
De rimelige anklagene endte der.
Tre kopper eplejuice ville koste Jessica $3, og hun ble bedt om $1,25 for «maling brukt når du tegner», $3 for de tre posene med chips Victoria spiste, og $7 for «bruke strøm til å spille videospill».
Selv en kopp melk ville sette Jessica tilbake $1, som ærlig talt ville dekket kostnadene for en hel kartong.
Andre anklager inkluderte 50 cent for å skylle toalettet, noe Victoria angivelig gjorde fem ganger, og ytterligere 50 cent for hver gang hun vasket hendene.
Jessicas søster sa at Victoria også ønsket å gå til parken, så hun belastet henne 3,75 dollar for bensin for å komme dit, 4,50 dollar for å se Netflix og hele 10 dollar for å bruke Wi-Fi på iPad.
«Vennligst betal $72 innen 30. APRIL 2024 for å unngå renter,» stod det på slutten av teksten.
En rasende Jessica postet på TikTok for å lufte klagene sine med resten av verden.
Som svar på fakturaen var alt hun kunne svare med: «Du har problemer! Hvordan avslår jeg denne BS (bullsh*t)?»
«Hvor latterlig er denne jenta?» sa hun i videoen.
«Som, hun spylt toalettet fem ganger, $10 for Wi-Fi, $4,50 for Netflix, en pose chips, som egentlig? Virkelig? Hvor latterlig er hun? vet du?»
Jessicas søster svarte imidlertid på teksten hennes med argumentet om at fakturaen var helt rimelig.
«Hvis hun skulle tatt med niesen min til en barnehage, ville de ha belastet henne minst $150 bare for å se henne,» sa Jessicas søster i en tekst som ble delt i en oppfølgingsvideo.
«Jeg har nok på tallerkenen min, du vet at jeg har mange mennesker som bor her, så hun kom hit var en ekstra munn å mette.
Jessicas søster klaget over at Victoria var «en ekstra person som pustet i hjemmet mitt. Å ta fra barna mine”.
«Det forårsaket definitivt så mye stress du ikke engang vet,» skrev hun.
«Jeg var mentalt utslitt, det var så stressende å ha så mange barn her. Jeg klarte bare ikke å takle det.»
«Tid for en ny søster»
Folk ble delt av begge videoene, med noen som hevdet at det var «latterlig» å kreve så mye for å passe et medlem av din egen familie.
«Jeg er på din side!! Hvem tar betalt for en tjeneste?» spurte noen.
«Ærlig talt, hvis dette var meg, ville barna mine aldri gå tilbake dit,» skrev en annen.
«Jeg ser på søsterens barn gratis, og de spiser all maten min og legger igjen et rot, men jeg elsker dem som om de er mine egne, så jeg tenkte aldri på å be om penger,» sa en tredje.
«Dette er vilt!» en annen kommenterte. «Jente, tid for en ny søster.»
Men noen syntes ikke anklagene hennes var for ekstreme.
«Jeg får (avgiftene for) å fukte sengen og Olive Garden resten er helt sinnsykt,» lød en kommentar.
«De eneste gyldige kostnadene er Olive Garden-måltidet og å tisse på sengen,» sa en annen enig.
«Alt annet er vilt.»
