Det har de bønne gitt en high-fashion makeover.
En gang begrenset til barnas oppholdsrom og tøffe barnehager, ble stoler med stoler selve symbolet på kult på Bottega Venetas moteukeshow i Milano lørdag.
Varene ble satt ut for kjendisgjester å sitte på under showet – men haute motehuset selger dem også på nettet for opptil 10 000 dollar.
I følge Bottega Veneta-nettstedet er «begrenset opplag» bønnesekkstoler tilgjengelige for forhåndsbestilling, og motefolk har allerede gitt fem figurer for å få hendene – og baken – på en.
Stolene er laget av luksuriøst napa-skinn og er designet i form av 15 forskjellige dyr, inkludert hunder, katter, fugler og slanger, og er ment å «fremkalle kreativitet, undring og grenseløs fantasi.»
Bottega Venetas kreative leder Matthieu Blazy fortalte Vogue at dyredesignene var inspirert av historien om Noahs ark.
«Det var ideen med arken: en gledelig verden med en følelse av undring, befolket av vennlige følgesvenner som får deg til å smile og si «Wow,» sa Blazy til publikasjonen.
«De er laget helt i skinn, og sitter lavt til bakken, så du har et annet perspektiv når du sitter på dem,» fortsatte han. «De er både glade og komfortable!»
A-lister som deltar på moteshow blir vanligvis tvunget til å sitte på ubehagelige benker, så saccosekkestolene kan ha vært en lettelse.
Men flere kjendiser på Bottega-showet så fortsatt mindre behagelige ut da de satt tilbake på første rad.
«Saltburn» hjerteknuser Jacob Elordi – som er 6 fot-5 – måtte forlate bena mens han satt på en lavtliggende stol.
Julianne Moore satt i mellomtiden med bena i kors på det som så ut til å være «oteren» av bønneposene.
Bottega bønneposene er ment å komplementere merkevarens nye kleskolleksjon, «WOW!»
På rullebanen dukket lodne plagg – inkludert hodeplagg med frynser og kantlinjer med dusker – opp sammen med dyremotiver.
I tillegg erobret overdimensjonert dress også catwalken, og skapte en illusjon av et barn som lekte dress-up i foreldrenes garderobe.
