Ryggen hans blusset opp under hans siste start 19. september mot de røde, og omtrent to uker senere er han fortsatt ikke klar for å returnere til haugen.

Han gikk 3-8 med en ERA på 4,85 i mindre, med 20 av hans 21 starter i Triple-A.
