Lea Thompson hadde gode ord for sin eks-forlovede Dennis Quaid over hans støtte til Donald Trump i presidentvalget i 2024.
«Back to the Future»-skuespillerinnen, 63, svarte på en video på X av Quaid, 70, som stusset for Trump, 78, på den republikanske kandidatens valgkampmøte i Coachella, California på lørdag.
«Jeg var forlovet med ham,» skrev Thompson, sammen med en tenkende emoji.
«#VoteBlueToStopTheStupid #crimeisactuallydown», skrev hun også, og bønnfalt sine følgere om å stemme på Kamala Harris i stedet for Trump i valget 5. november.
I klippet sa Quaid på scenen under Trumps demonstrasjon: «Skal vi være en nasjon med lov og orden? Eller vidåpne grenser? Hvilken er det? For det er på tide å velge side.»
Thompson og Quaid begynte å date i 1982 etter å ha møttes på settet til «Jaws 3-D».
De var forlovet fra 1984 til de slo opp i 1987, etter at Thompson møtte hennes nå ektemann, Howard Deutch, på settet til «Some Kind of Wonderful» i 1986.
Paret har to barn sammen, skuespillerne Madelyn og Zoey Deutch.
Quaid giftet seg i mellomtiden med sin fjerde kone, Laura Savoie, i 2020.
Han har tre barn, inkludert «The Boys»-skuespilleren Jack Quaid, som han deler med eksen Meg Ryan.
Quaid støttet Trump som president på «Piers Morgan Uncensored» tidligere i år.
Under sin tale på lørdag sammenlignet Quaid inneværende år med valget i 1980, som ble vunnet av Ronald Reagan, som han nylig spilte i filmen «Reagan».
«Reagan er min favorittpresident på 1900-tallet,» sa «Parent Trap»-skuespilleren til publikum mens han tok på seg en rød MAGA-hatt, og la til: «Donald Trump er min favorittpresident i det 21. århundre.»
Quaid dro på rally sammen med broren sin, Randy Quaid, som også er en ivrig Trump-tilhenger.
Sønnen hans Jack, derimot, støtter Harris, 59, i løpet. Jack, 32, deltok til og med i «Geeks & Nerds for Harris»-arrangementet med noen av hans «The Boys»-medstjerner forrige måned.
«Kjære herre, hun knuste det absolutt i går kveld», skrev Jack på Instagram dagen etter 10. september-debatten mellom Harris og Trump.
Ironisk nok har «The Boys»-superskurken Homelander (spilt av Antony Starr) blitt sammenlignet med Trump, spesielt i programmets siste sesong.
I et intervju med Daily Beast i juli var Jack enig i at Prime Video-serien ligner den nåværende tilstanden i amerikansk politikk.
«Jeg nøler alltid med å si «Nei, dette er underteksten», fordi kunst er fortolkende. Jeg tror intensjonen med det lener seg mer mot den liberale siden. I det minste vil jeg gjerne tro det, absolutt,» sa «Skrik»-stjernen.
