I motsetning til Glen Powell er Lewis Pullman i mørket om planene for «Top Gun 3».
Pullman, 31, avslørte i et eksklusivt intervju med The Post at han ennå ikke har blitt kontaktet for å gjenoppta rollen som LT Bob Floyd i den neste Tom Cruise-ledede «Top Gun»-filmen.
«Jeg har ikke hørt skjul eller hår om det,» sa skuespilleren mens han promoterte sin nye krim-thrillerfilm, «Skincare.»
«Men,» la han til, «jeg ville vært en lek å komme opp igjen i disse flyene og spesielt komme tilbake med de skuespillerne og de filmskaperne. De er alle som familie for meg nå.»
«Så det ville vært morsomt å komme tilbake til det igjen, men jeg har ikke fått en telefon ennå.»
Pullman spilte hovedrollen i 2022s «Top Gun: Maverick», som ble hyllet av kritikere og samlet inn over 1,4 milliarder dollar over hele verden.
Powell, som også spilte hovedrollen i filmen som LT «Hangman» Seresin, avslørte nylig at han vet når innspillingen til den tredje filmen begynner.
«Jeg mener, jeg har en date,» sa den 35 år gamle skuespilleren til Josh Horowitz på «Happy Sad Confused»-podcasten forrige måned.
Men da han ble trykket for flere detaljer, svarte Powell humoristisk: «Absolutt ikke,» og foreslo at de skulle gå videre til neste spørsmål.
Nyheten kom i januar om at Paramount Pictures offisielt utviklet en tredje «Top Gun»-film, med Cruise, 62, forventet å komme tilbake som hovedstjerne og produsent.
Etter å ha jobbet så tett med Cruise på oppfølgeren, fortalte Pullman til The Post hva han lærte av den legendariske skuespilleren.
«Så mange ting, en mengde, vet du, som jeg har lagt til i verktøykassen min. Men jeg antar hovedsakelig at den sterkeste jeg bruker hver dag er at når du tror du har den perfekt, kan du alltid bli bedre,» delte han.
«Skincare» følger en kjendisestetiker ved navn Hope (Elizabeth Banks), som forbereder seg på å lansere sin egen hudpleielinje, når rivaliserende ansiktsforsker Angel (Luis Gerardo Méndez) åpner en ny butikk rett over gaten.
Pullman spiller Jordan, Hopes venn som hjelper henne på et farlig oppdrag for å finne ut hvem som prøver å sabotere livet og karrieren hennes.
«Det er ganske annerledes enn noe jeg hadde gjort før,» sa «Lessons in Chemistry»-stjernen til The Post om sin rolle i den Austin Peters-regisserte filmen.
«Jeg hadde mange gode innspill på noe av stilen, men så hadde vi denne fantastiske kostymedesigneren, Angelina Vito, som bare var så samarbeidsvillig. Og vi jobbet også med Austin om hvordan vi ønsket å designe hans [Jordan’s] hele blikket.»
Pullman beskrev karakteren hans som «en slags drivende, kameleonfyr, som på en måte kan skifte og inn i den personen han snakker med vil at han skal være.»
«Han kastet ikke bare av seg klærne, men han kastet også av seg denne personligheten,» la skuespilleren til. «Og du vil faktisk få se hvem han er. Virkelig.»
«Skincare» er ute på kino på fredag.
