Olivia «Livvy» Dunne ga kjæresten, Paul Skenes, en ekte Bronx-jubel lørdag ettermiddag.
Dunne, LSU-gymnasten og sensasjonen på sosiale medier, hånet egentlig ikke skjønnheten hennes, men ga ham mye positiv støtte tidlig da han slo opp for Pirates på Yankee Stadium-haugen.
Før kampen viste Dunne på Instagram hva hun ville ha på seg, inkludert en svart topp, svarte shorts og hvite støvler som stavet «Pirates» foran og «Skenes» på baksiden.
NIL-elskingen ble vist på både YES Network og Sportsnet Pittsburgh TV-feeds da Skenes dominerte i den første omgangen, da han slo ut Juan Soto og Aaron Judge som svingte i slagtre som inkluderte tresifrede hurtigballer.
Skenes slo ut tre i to perfekte omganger for Pirates i et forkortet uttak for det som blir hans siste utspill for året.
Superstjerneparet – og LSU-deltakere – ble offisielt i fjor sommer etter at Skenes ble draftet som første sammenlagt av Pirates i 2023 MLB Draft.
Hun har vært tilstede på mange av Skenes sine starter siden han ble kalt opp til de store ligaene i vår, inkludert hans en-inning-start i Texas under All-Star Game.
De to tok den røde løperen med storm, og etter at han slo en målløs ramme mot American League, ble hun vist strålende og jublende.
Dunne avslørte nylig på «Best of Both Worlds»-podcasten hvordan hun og Skenes møttes og ble et par.
«Jeg møtte Paul og jeg ville på en måte se ham rundt, og jeg tenkte: ‘Hvem er denne høye, mystiske fyren?’ Jeg hadde bokstavelig talt ingen anelse om hvem han var, men jeg ville bare se ham rundt, sa Dunne. «Så, i løpet av baseballsesongen, spilte han ikke engang den kampen [I was at]han var i graven.
«Så jeg så ham i graven og jeg sa: ‘Der er han.’ Jeg tenkte: ‘Han er søt, jeg liker den sideprofilen.’ Han hadde ikke bart ennå, så han var ikke engang Paul Skenes som vi alle kjenner og elsker ennå. Barter, ikke sant? Høyre. Så etter det endte jeg opp med å følge ham [on social media] og vi hang sammen, fikk is, og det var kult.»
