Chick chick hurra!
En britisk dyrehage kunngjorde klekking av to truede afrikanske pingvinunger oppkalt etter brødrene til det engelske rockebandet Oasis.
Hertfordshire Zoo sa at de afrikanske pingvinene klekket ut i august, og «viser allerede tegn på uavhengighet, og svir ut av reiret tidligere enn forventet for arten deres».
Liam og Noel er de første ungene klekket i år i Hertfordshire Zoo – tidligere kjent som Paradise Wildlife Park – som ligger i Hertfordshire, England.
En truet art, det er rundt 40 000 afrikanske pingviner som lever i naturen.
Pingvinene i Hertfordshire Zoo ble kåret til å hedre Oasis’ Gallagher-brødre.
«Å navngi dem etter Noel og Liam Gallagher er et nikk til deres rampete og energiske humør, og speiler det ikoniske rockebandets dynamiske tilstedeværelse,» sa Tom Clark, fuglesjef i Hertfordshire Zoo.
