Han er ingen supermann.
Zach Braff, 49, har avslørt hva som hindrer en mulig «Scrubs»-omstart.
«Scrubs’ er et Disney-show. [Creator] Regning [Lawrence] har en Warner Bros.-avtale. Når de to selskapene finner ut av det, tror jeg folket vil få det de vil ha. Jeg tror det kommer til å skje, sa Braff til ET i et nylig intervju.
«Scrubs» ble opprinnelig sendt på NBC og senere ABC fra 2001-2010. Showet fulgte livene til Sacred Heart Hospital-ansatte, inkludert Dr. John Michael «JD» Dorian (Braff), intern-ble-lege Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke), som til slutt gifter seg med JD; kirurg Christopher Turk (Donald Faison), alias JDs beste venn; oversykepleier Carla (Judy Reyes), som til slutt gifter seg med Turk; Vaktmester (Neil Flynn), vaktmesteren; og sjef for medisin Perry Cox (John C. McGinley), blant andre.
Dave Franco ble med i rollebesetningen i den niende og siste sesongen.
«Det ville vært så gøy [with] alle mine favorittmennesker,” fortalte Braff til utsalgsstedet om en mulig omstart.
«Vi henger fortsatt alle sammen,» sa han. «Mange mennesker som var på lange show sier det, men det er sant.»
Braff la til: «Jeg var nettopp på ferie med Sarah Chalke … jeg skal til stranden med Bill neste helg. Vi er alle venner.»
Braff dukker også opp i Lawrences Apple TV+-show «Bad Monkey», som nå streames.
«Han er bare en strålende historieforteller. Jeg kjenner ingen som liker ham. Han klarer også å lage fem forestillinger om gangen, og han er den hyggeligste personen,” fortalte Braff om Lawrence.
«Jeg er bare veldig velsignet som har vognen min koblet til ham.»
Da han snakket med The Post om «Bad Monkey», som spiller Vince Vaughn, sa Lawrence at han liker å kaste usannsynlige ledende menn som Vaughn og Braff.
Lawrence sa at han vokste opp med å se programmer som «Falcon Crest» eller «Dallas», der «alle og hver familie så like perfekte ut som om de var meislet ut av en stein.»
Lawrence la til: «Jeg har alltid elsket den allemannse eller alle kvinnenes verden. Og jeg tror at hvis folk kan se på karakterer og si «det kan være meg», gjør det det lettere for meg å få publikum til å tre inn i skoene deres og føle empati og bli investert.»
Lawrence, som også var medskapende «Ted Lasso,» fortalte The Post at det er en mulighet for at showet kan fortsette.
«Det er opp til Jason Sudeikis,» sa han.
«Fordi han forresten ikke bare er Ted Lasso selv og forfatterens medskaper – men han er den som må rykke opp hele livet og familien hans, vet du? Som fan vil jeg selvfølgelig gjerne se den igjen, sa Lawrence.
«Men uansett [Sudeikis] ender opp med å gjøre, er jeg helt nede med. Og jeg skjønner det.»
